Italy coach Roberto Mancini discussed the Azzurri's objectives and his future in an interview with Sportlab: "I am not thinking about my contract right now. I have set sights on the World Cup but in life it's difficult to say what will happen in the future. As far as national teams are concerned there's only Italy to me, If I had to choose another national team I would pick Brazil because of their creativity but, then again, there's only Italy for me", Mancini revealed.
"Our first goal is to top our Nations League group. We will play the Euros next June and winning it is an objective of ours: Italy have not won this competition for too many years. If we improve in the next few months, we might have some chances of winning it." The coach then was asked about Mario Balotelli, a player that made his debut under him at Inter and is corrently a free agent: "The fact that he can't find a new club saddens me. He is 30, he is in the prime of a player's football maturity, I am sorry that he didn't do well in the past few years. With his technical skills he would be a great asset for the National team. I hope that something good will happen to him because I care for him".
