Italy's progression to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar has officially started, with upcoming qualification matches arriving between 25 March and 31 March against Northern Ireland, Bulgaria, and Lithuania. Ahead of the qualifiers, Roberto Mancini has announced his list of call-ups, composed of 38 players. Making their debut are Rafael Toloi and Matteo Ricci. Barella, Sensi, and Bastoni are expected to be tested due to the Covid situation within Inter.
