Roberto Mancini's Italy will take on opponents in the upcoming Nations League matches, facing Bosnia and Netherlands on September 4 and 7. The coach spoke to the press at Coverciano: "I am very happy to be back here, everyone's tests came back negative. That makes us happy and we are ready to go to work." The 35 players who were called up arrived on Saturday night and were isolated in their single rooms after receiving testing.
Mancini remains focused on Italy: "No club has come after me, we started this job two years ago in a difficult moment and despite that we have accomplished good things and we want to get better. Lippi as technical director? I know nothing about it, president Gravina already explained it all. Nothing has changed, something that important wouldn't be held back. I read the newspapers, the president discussed it and that is that. I don't need any other explanation."
Mancini spoke about the matches: "It will not be such a simple match against Bosnia, it's our first and it will require our concentration. We are missing Verratti who is an important player, but Jorginho and Tonali should arrive tomorrow after their isolation period."
