Giorgio Chiellini spoke to Sky after the 1-1 draw with Macedonia: "something good was there. We created our chances and managed the game well for 70 minutes. It is a shame, but we shouldn't concede anything and should have finished the game with a positive result to give energy for the next game. We have work to do. It should have been an important win. We lost enthusiasm and the lightheartedness, which are the ingredients that are required to move forward and to succeed. We need to work and move forward. We are convinced that we need the public , they will give us a hand. Worried about the playoffs? We have to gradually get there and taking big steps won't serve us any good. The important thing is move forward one step at a time. We were shut down in Spain and we must believe that we can be better. We must regain our lightheartedness and personality. The BBC? We took a shot on net, everyone has to improve and this includes us."
