Inter, Zhang Jindong:”We’ll make the club stronger, I thank Thohir for his trust”

The Suning group is now Inter's majority stakeholder after completing the deal with Erick Thohir. Suning's president Zhang Jindong discussed his plans for the club at the press conference in Nanchino:"Suning group entered the football world less than a year ago and it was able to acquire Inter, one of the top European clubs. There was right away a good feeling with Thohir, I went to Italy and I got to know Moratti, who influenced me in getting involved to grow the club. It's a great responsibility to become an Inter stakeholder. We thank Thohir for his trust: acquiring Inter is part of Suning's startegy to become a leader in sports within 5 years, by becoming one of the top groups able to grow in the market. We'll make Inter stronger, it was the first club to enter China 38 years ago and it's one of the best in Italy and Europe: we'll make it magnificent and we want to rebuild the great history of the past"
