After a convincing win against Frosinone in Serie A, Inter prepare for the crucial Champions League match against Tottenham on Wednesday. The Nerazzurri will in fact play for reaching the qualification to the next round of the European competition against an in-form opponent like the Spurs, as Zanetti said in an interview with Radio Anch'io Sport: "It will be a very important month of tough fixtures for us. Tottenham game is one of those. Spalletti will prepare the match in the best way possible to face an opponent in great form that have win against Chelsea. Their main strength is the intensity, so we have to be focused in order to get a good result that would allow us to go through the group stage".
The nerazzurri's vicepresident was also asked the Serie A race: "We have to go our way and improve in regards to what we did last season. We have to be more competitive than last year and we are doing just that. The owners signed some players that added quality to the team and the coach is doing a great job. Now we have to fight for the top spots every season. Juventus are having a fantastic season, they are showing great consistency. Ibrahimovic to Milan? I know him very well, he is a world class player and everyone would want him in the team. I don't know if he will join the rossoneri, but if that happens he would be another opponent that we would have to face".
Finally the former Inter skipper commented also the imminent signing of Beppe Marotta: "It's not official yet, but he will bolster the management team and he will help the club grow. He knows how football works and we all want to improve. Marotta will be an integration to Ausilio and Gardini's work, they are doing a fantastic job".
