Javier Zanetti is present at the San Siro for tonight’s final between Atletico and Real Madrid, Zanetti showed up tonight with the same style and elegance that defined his career. Speaking to Marca the Inter vice-president had a chance to discuss the managers he had through-out his career: “I learnt the fundamental values of football from Bielsa. Marcelo always knew how to improve his players, to bring out the best in you, judging him from his trophies is wrong. I really liked Mourinho’s sense of responsibility it was so unique. He’s intelligent and has a winning mentality. Manchester needed someone of his caliber, with his personality, although Ferguson is one of a kind”.
“Simeone to Inter? We really want to come back to the Champions League and for this objective we believe we should keep Mancini, who is doing a great job. Simeone is very happy at Atletico. Banega? He will elevate our squad with his character and quantity. I’m not supporting either club, I hope it will be a great match, Atletico deserves it.
