Inter continue their pursuit of Christian Eriksen. The Danish midfielder born '92 has an expiring contract with Tottenham that he does not intend to renew, so the Premier League club is looking to monetize on him in January rather than losing him for no transfer fee in the summer.
While Inter were originally interested in signing Eriksen to a Bosman deal, the difficulties in the pursuit of Arturo Vidal, who was Conte's top choice, are opening a negotiation with Spurs to sign the Danish midfielder immediately. Spurs are asking for €20 million and Inter offered Matias Vecino, but should the former Fiorentina midfielder satisfy the English club, Inter could increase their offer.
Inter are negotiating on two fronts: with Eriksen's agent for a June move and with the Spurs for a January transfer, the parties will continue to work on reaching a deal.
