Inter, the latest on the future of Sanchez and the position of Man United

Yesterday there were contacts between a Manchester United representative and Inter over the effor to extend the Chilean through August. Today, Inter learned that United would not change their mind and are only willing to let Sanchez stay at Inter until 5 August. There is no chance presently to extend the loan until after Inter's participation inthe Europa League ends without Inter deciding to purchase the player outright. It would take a long term agreement on Inter's part to secure Sanchez through the cup, and one with significant compensation for Man United given their gross wages owed to Sanchez over the following two years amount to around €55m .
