After the controversial loss to Juventus, Inter are looking to stay in the race for a Champions League spot when they face Udinese tomorrow. Manager Luciano Spalletti discussed his team’s state of mind in the pre match press conference:”This wasn’t an easy week, but we are forced to react and we must play final stretch of season thinking it’s all up to us. We must use everything that happened in a way that can help us for the next match. What challenges does Udinese present? Their team is better than what standings say, they have a physical team who can create difficulty with the running and strength aspect. Spalletti discussed his potential lineup:”Santon or Dalbert? I made a decision but sometimes I change my mind at the last second. But one of those two will play. I saw Santon doing well as always, I’m sorry he received so much criticism, he did what he was supposed and didn’t impact the result”
Spalletti was asked about the recent reports on his contract extension:”I don’t have to convince anyone, I just have to work a certain way. I don’t know how the club thinks or who should judge me, but I know I always gave everything and I think those that I’m in contact with understand this sentiment”
