After their tumultuous win against Napoli at San Siro, Inter are getting ready to face Empoli on Saturday. But the events at San Siro on Wednesday continue to be at the center of the media’s attention and Luciano Spalletti was asked about them in the pre match press conference:”I believe those who insulted Koulibaly should be condemned, without any reservations. But I don’t think the result was influenced by these events. Regarding the racist chants we must say enough, and that goes for also chants on Heysel and Superga”

Spalletti was asked about giving the captain’s armband to Kwadwo Asamoah as a symbolic gesture:”Why should I do so when in the post match against Napoli Icardi behaved exactly like the club would have liked? All of my players during the ninety minutes lived up to our standards”
