Inter are looking for their first victory since December 3rd, and will face Crotone with a chance to do so this weekend. Their coach Luciano Spalletti commented on the team in his pre-match press conference, and he also had an update on his striker, Mauro Icardi: "He will not be selected for the match. He anted to be there but he had a recurrance of a muscle injury and so it doesn't make sense to risk it. I will select Emmers in his place. Right now, we are playing our worst football. We need to go back to scraping the bottom of the barrel of our resources now, it doesn't matter what player might be missing. We need to do well, even though things are not going in the right direction. Transfer market? I have never said that there are players missing. In Florence, when Miranda, Skriniar, and Ranocchia were out, I said that I was forced to play Santon in central defense but I never made any requests. Our directors have done well to become involved in the equilibrium of the market. Speaking generally, we are fine but at the moment things aren't positive. Difficult and uncertain moments are part of a football season, but now we must wash our hands of it."
