Despite a shaky start to the season in Serie A, Inter managed to climb up the table and reach the second place together with Napoli. Coach Luciano Spalletti, however, wants to keep the concentration levels very high ahead of the away game against Atalanta.

"The team's morale is high, but we have to stay focused. A good streak could bring some complacency, so we have to handle this situation well - Spalletti said in the pre-match press conference - Atalanta? They are a strong side, with a coach like Gasperini who is good for football, he can make it more modern and beautiful. The numbers reveals that Atalanta are a team that deserves to be in the higher positions. They are not afraid of anything and they play even better at home".

One of the key factors to the recent winning streak was also the possibility to rotate the team, with some unexpected protagonist emerging in the last few games: "Joao Mario, Dalbert and Gagliardini deserve praise because they always worked like exemplary professionals, despite not being included in the squad list for the Champions League. Tomorrow I will give some rest to all the players that need it. We have to evaluate Brozovic, while Nainggolan made a step backwards in fitness, he won't most likely play against Atalanta".

Fianlly, the coach was asked an opinion on Mourinho's gesture at the Allianz Arena against Juventus: "After the game he said that he did it in the heat of the moment, otherwise he wouldn't have done it. There is some emotional pressure in every game, so there's the risk to get sucked into provocations. If you keep poking the lion, it will roar eventually".
