After the goalless draw against Atalanta, Inter are seto to go back on the pitch for Serie A midweek matchday. The Nerazzurri have to get a positive result at San Siro tomorrow against Cagliari, if they want to keep pace with Lazio and Roma in the race for a Champions League spot. Here are coach Luciano Spalletti's thoughts on tomorrow's game, as he discussed it in the pre-match press conference: "It won't be an easy game, we have to be good to not play in a too much central position. Only one result wuold be satisfying for us: a win. We are playing well, but scoring is what makes the difference. if you play well but you don't score, that's a problem. We're a group that has quality, we've shown that in some ways. To show it even more, we must display not just technical quality but also good character and physicality. We must stay determined and focused for a long period. Everyone has to do something more, I want to see score also other players besides Icardi and Perisic. I want to see an improvement in team character especially. Karamoh? He is training well. He will be useful in the future. Rafinha? He's fine. When you don't play for a long period , you need time to find back the tempo on the pitch. Roma? They played a great match against Barcelona, they gained even more visibility. Di Francesco's team did something exceptional".
