Inter are set to welcome a new addition to Antonio Conte’s squad. After today’s meeting with agent Giuseppe Riso and Sassuolo’s sporting director Carnevali, the nerazzurri essentially closed the deal for Stefano Sensi.
The midfielder is set to arrive for €5 million loan with an option to buy set between 22 and 25 million, a deal very similar to the one the clubs completed last year for Matteo Positano. As part of the deal Sassuolo will receive striker Edoardo Vergani born in 2001 who played got the nerazzurri’s Primavera team.
Sensi will sign a five year deal with Inter with an annual salary of €1.8 million net of taxes, he had also been pursued by Barcelona in recent months. His arrival will not exclude Barella, the negotiation with Cagliari will continue after the midfielder expressed a strong desire to join.
Inter are also close to signing Etienne Kinkoue, a central defender born in 2002 who is currently playing for Troyes.
