After announcing Antonio Conte as their new coach, Inter are working to bring some reinforcements to the former Chelsea coach. The Nerazzurri's maneuvers start from the attack, with Edin Dzeko being the main target at the moment.
Inter and Roma will hold a meeting in the coming days to discuss the deal. The Giallorossi value the Bosnian, who has already expressed his desire to start a new adventure, at 10-12 million euros. Roma have also tried to offer him a new three-year contract, but the former Manchester City player has already reached an agreement with Inter on personal terms on the basis of a 2-year deal, with an option to extend the contract for an additional season. Finally, the deal between the clubs could also involve a Nerazzurri's youngster, similarly to what happend in the Nainggolan-Zaniolo deal last year. Dzeko's acquisition would happen regardless of Icardi's future. Should the Argentine leave the club, Inter would target another striker, with a particularly keen eye on Lukaku, one of Conte's favourites.
In midfield the Nerazzurri have set their sights on Nicolò Barella. Cagliari have set their asking price at 50 million. Inter's plan is to mitigate the Sardi's demands by including a couple of players in the deal, one of them being young defender Bastoni, who had a very good season on loan at Parma
