Inter have chosen the goalkeeper that will serve as backup to Samir Handanovic next season. The Nerazzurri had eyed Udinese Juan Musso as a potential heir to the Slovenian, however the Friulani's asking price of €25 million was deemed too high by the club, hence the decision to keep Ionut Radu.
The 23-year-old Romanian international, currently on loan to Parma, has already made 50 appearances in Serie A with Genoa and will be useful also for the Champions League squad list, as he can be registered as club-trained player. Current Handanovic's backup Daniele Padelli, 35, will become then third-choice goalkeeper.
