Inter pursing Penarol’s Guillermo Varela: the situation

Inter are looking for a reinforcement on the right side and have identified former Manchester United player Guillermo Varela as a suitable option. The defender born in ’93 joined Penarol last season, and he’s expected to be part of Uruguay’s squad in the upcoming World Cup. Recently both Gremio and Atletico Mineiro made offers to acquire him, but they were both reject- but now Varela’s entourage are seriously considering Inter’s proposal- the deal could be reach for around 6 million euro.
