It will be a decisive evening for Inter. The nerazzurri are playing for a spot in the final 16 of the Champions League and while a win will not guarantee them qualification, it would certainly be a good place to start. They take on Dutch side PSV Eindhoven in the last match of Group B.
Icardi and co need to achieve a better result than Tottenham, who play against Barcelona at the Camp Nou, in order to secure passage to the next round. Luciano Spalletti has some doubts over his starting eleven, as Matias Vecino looks set to miss the match. Radja Nainggolan has recovered for the match but looks set to start from the bench as he lacks match fitness. For this reason Spalletti could decide to partner Lautaro Martinez up front with Icardi, while Borja Valero gets the nod in midfield alongside Brozovic. Handanovic in goal will be no surprise, and the defensive four should consist of D'Ambrosio, de Vrij, Skriniar and Asamoah. Other than Martinez, on the wings next to Icardi would be Politano and Perisic.
PSV will not be sending out a weaker squad despite being eliminated from the competition and having no chance of reaching the Europa League. Manager van Bommel will be sending out his strongest eleven.
Here are the probable lineups for both teams:
Inter (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; D'Ambrosio, de Vrij, Skriniar, Asamoah; Borja Valero, Brozovic; Politano, Lautaro Martinez, Perisic; Icardi.
PSV (4-2-3-1): Zoet; Dumfries, Schwaab, Viergever, Angelino; Rosario, Hendrix; Lozano, Pereiro, Bergwijn; De Jong.
