Inter are increasingly confident on securing Barcelona midfielder Rafinha. Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio met with the Catalan club to continue negotiations and reach final agreement. Clubs have agreed the formula of the possible transfer, that is a loan with an option to buy, but negotiations are still ongoing to find an agreement on the buyout fee. Inter's first offer of €25 million was turned down by Barcelona, as Spanish club ask for €30 million more. It is understood that an agreement could be reached at halfway, for a sum in the region of €30 million plus bonuses.
Inter are looking at La Liga also for the attack, as they have shown interest in Atletico Madrid's winger Nico Gaitan. Should the Argentinian, born in 1988, get an EU passport, Inter could take into consideration a deal that may include Joao Mario.
