Former Inter player Lothar Matthäus talked with La Gazzetta dello Sport about the Nerazzurri clash on Sunday against Scudetto contenders Napoli. A very different game from the one that the German played 29 ago, scoring a decisive goal for the Scudetto against the Azzurri: "I will never forget that goal, we won that Scudetto against Maradona's Napoli. There was an unbelievable atmosphere at the stadium. Should they win, the game on Sunday could be a turning point for the Nerazzurri, but also a 1-1 draw would be a good result. Napoli are the better team". Matthäus also commented on the tough situatuon of the Italian national team, that won't take part to the World Cup: "Italy were not able to change, move on. For example, there no point in playing Buffon in frendly games against England and Argentina. They should clear the way for young players".
