Inter, Marotta:”Playing on Monday? An impractical and almost provocative proposal”

Earlier today, Serie A league president Paolo Dal Pino revealed that last Friday they had offered Inter the possibility of playing the match against Juventus on Monday with fans in the stand, a proposal Inter declined.

The nerazzurri's executive director Beppe Marotta spoke to Ansa about the situation:"The proposal was impractical and almost provocative. Only Juventus' public could have attended and that would have gone against the logic of protecting the public's health by assuming the disappearance of the Coronavirus in the span of 24 hours"
