Inter, Marotta:”Icardi deserves to return but there are rules”

Prior to kickoff of tonight’s derby della Madonnina, Inter executive director Beppe Marotta was asked about Mauro Icardi’s status during an interview with Sky Sport:”Icardi deserves to come back, he’s an Inter player and we are waiting for the situation to be resolved. We must face the aspect regarding his presence with the team, we’ll keep close to our vest some of the analysis we’ve done, but every party is determined to resolve the problem. We need willingness from everyone involved. My optimism comes the hope of finding again an important player who gave a lot to Inter, but there are rules and some decisions that were made will be brought forward”.
