Beppe Marotta spoke again on the Mauro Icardi situation that is surrounding Inter, as there continues to be tension between the club and player as next weekend's derby is on the horizon.
"There's great optimism. Inter moves forward, there are goals and evaluations. These things happen in all teams, I've seen it all over the years. It requires the stick and carrot, using intelligence and good senses. The dynamics were right, it's okay to have an inflexible behavior at the beginning, but we're a community and there's a good sense also from those who govern this club, from the president to the manager that knows how to manage the group. This is a fact that we can manage with calmness."
On the possibility of Icardi playing in the derby: "If I think like a man of football, I think that the fact that he hasn't trained for all this time could impact his presentation, but these are evaluations that the manager will have to make."
