Following their win against Lecce in the first Serie A match of the season, Inter are very active on the transfer market. In addition to pursuing Biraghi, they are also looking to close the deal with Manchester United for Alexis Sanchez. The nerazzurri have raised their offer when it comes to the player’s substantial wages- they are willing to pay around €5 million after taxes.
Manchester United would have to pay the remainder of his wages which are €12 million net a season, however the salaries for the club’s players are reduced by 25% when they aren’t competing in the Champions League. There’s optimism the deal will be completed before the player heads to Italy.
