Inter looking to bring in Emerson Palmieri: initial contacts made with Chelsea

After Inter secured their right flank for the next five seasons by signing Hakimi, they are looking to add a piece on the left side of Antonio Conte's formation. Emerson Palmieri is being considered for a return to Serie A from Chelsea, where he played for Conte. Inter and Chelsea have begun initial talks in a positive way, and Inter is hopeful and confident of closing a deal.
