After finding the back of the net in big matches against both Barcelona and Juventus, Lautaro Martinez is surely one of the most positive notes on the strong start to Inter's season. Inter had won their first six Serie A matches before falling to Barcelona in Champions League and Juventus in Serie A last week.
Inter's growth, though, does not stop and Lautaro singled out his manager when being interviewed by ESPN. "Conte is a great manager, he always demands a lot from everyone and this is fundamental because it raises the level of the entire squad. He's doing a complete job, he's able to manage both our physical and mental levels and is always very clear in making us understand what he wants."
Clarity and communication, two key points in the management of Antonio Conte. Two points that, at least at first, represented a bit of difficulty for Lautaro Martinez.
"I don't speak Italian well but by now, I understand him. The truth is I embarrass myself a bit when I speak to him, because it's a very difficult language and I prefer to speak in Argentine. The fundamental thing, though, is understand with your teammates on the pitch."
