Inter, Icardi:"The situation with de Boer was unsustainable. We're focused on qualifying for Champions League"

At the beginning of the new year Mauro Icardi finds himself in a familiar position by leading Serie A with 14 goals, Inter's captain gave an interview to Gazzetta dello Sport where he described his hopes going into 2017:"We can still qualify for the Champions League, it's not just the club's ambition that says so but also our performance in December, we won three games in a row and found balance. With Pioli we are mainly working on our mentality, he changed our perspective, he gave confidence back to everyone, even those who didn't play much. The situation with de Boer was unsustainable. The players who were used less often were truly unhappy and didn't participate with a lot of enthusiasm even with the moments of joy with the group, with Pioli there's a different vibe, even those who play less feel part of the project"
