Today’s win against Sampdoria was memorable for Mauro Icardi since Inter’s captain scored his 100th career goal against his former team. Icardi went so far as scoring a poker at Marassi, bringing his Serie A tally to 103, this is what he told Sky Sport after the match:”I was hoping to get to 100 and instead I surpassed it. I’m happy with the performance of everyone and for the match we played. It was important to get some points today since against Napoli we made a performance of sacrifice. We go into the break more serene, I’m not sure if it’s better or not, but we’re professionals and we must do well. I hope this match is a new starting point because we have an objective and we must reach it”
