On the last day of the summer transfer window, Mauro Icardi joined Paris St Germain. The Argentine striker travelled to France’s capital today to take the medical, he will join the Ligue 1 champions on loan with option to buy set at €70 million.
As part of the deal, Icardi extended his contract with Inter through the 2020-21 season with a salary of €7 million after taxes, but for the remainder of this season his salary will be €5 million. Should the French club redeem his rights, the striker will receive a raise. Icardi is now ready to start the next chapter of his career in France.
