With Higuain now gone, Napoli are looking for his replacement. Milik has arrived and Manolo Gabbiadini is also there (4 goals versus Monaco yesterday) but the azzurri are still targeting Mauro Icardi. According to Manuele Baiocchini and Francesco Modugno of Sky Sport, Wanda Nara (Icardi's agent) and his entourage will be in Napoli tomorrow to meet with Aurelio De Laurentiis. New contacts should occur in the coming hours between the parties. Inter want to renew his contract but till it gets done, the door remains open as the Icardi camp want to add a bit of pressure on the nerazzurri.
Inter do not want to sell him. Napoli's only official offer was of 48 million euros+ 2 extra million in bonuses but ever since, they haven't made any other offer. Icardi is Inter's captain and he still has 3 more years of contract. If he does leave, Inter will have to find a replacement as time might be against them.
