Inter have set their sights on two players to strengthen the squad for the future, Sampdoria defender Joachim Andersen and Udinese's Rodrigo de Paul. Andersen, who arrived at Sampdoria in 2017 from FC Twente, has featured in every minute of the first ten matches for Giampaolo. The central defender (born 1996) has received interest from several clubs around Europe, but Inter are looking to beat the competition, already having initiated contacts. De Paul has already netted five goals this season in Serie A, his best total yet in the league, and has featured for Argentina in their October friendly against Iraq. Inter are monitoring the player, and if he continues his good form the nerazzurri could accelerate their push for the 24-year-old.
