Fredy Guarin still loves Inter. The Shangai Shenhua player hasn't forgot about the years spent at Milan as "Inter is my family, bring me back home -has he declared to La Gazzetta dello Sport- Money isn't an issue, I'd accept to earn a fifth of my current wages to turn back. Last year I talked about it with Ausilio, but the economic parameters weren't right for my return. De Boer was there with some confusion, I really wanted to turn back at all cost though. I miss Italy and Inter but I don't regret my choice".
The Colombian midfielder was also close from Juve in 2014 in the Vucinic swap deal: "I wanted to stay, Mazzarri was the one pushing to get Vucinic. Juventus already wanted me when I arrived in Italy but my mind was set. During that January window people treated my like a traitor but if the coach tells you to go you have to make this kind of valuations. I would have been at Juve the year they went to the Champions League final in Berlin but it doesn't matter: I'm happy how things went".
"I consider Moratti as a father, he's been decisive regarding the fact I stayed, alongside Zanetti and Cordoba. I can't forget about the Curva guys and their affection demonstration to convince the club to keep me".
Two years after, he still left: "For the Financial Fair Play. They were clear: "Icardi and you are the only players with an important economic value, we need the money". I wasn't forced to leave but my sale had been important for the books. It's been the only positive aspect regarding my departure".
About the Scudetto race; "Juventus remains the favorite, they have the best team but I really like Napoli's grinta".
