Inter, Gabigol: "I did my best, but things didn't go as I hoped with the nerazzurri. My loan ends in December, then we'll see what happens"

After arriving to Inter in summer 2016 with many expectations, Brazilian striker Gabigol could make an impact with a nerazzurri jersey and now he is back on loan to his boyhood club Santos. "This is my home, I'm well here", the Brazilian says in an interview with Corriere dello Sport. Then Gabigol explains what didn't work for him at Inter and what could be his future: "When I arrived at Inter I was very motivated, I liked the club's project and I was happy to start a new adventur in Europe. I did my best, but things didn't go as I hoped. Now I am an Inter supporter and I want them to win against Lazio. Reaching the Champions League could be a fundamental step in closing the gap with Juventus. My future? Right now I'm focused only on Santos and my goal is to do my best here and help the team winning trophies. In December, after my loan ends, I will have to go back to Inter, then we'll see what will happen", concludes Gabigol.
