These are intense days for Inter on the transfer market. The nerazzurri are close to completing the deal for Ashley Young after Manchester United opened to his sale during the winter window. The parties are working on reaching an agreement on the nominal fee to compensate the Red Devils.
On the Olivier Giroud front there is distance of €1 million between Inter's offer and Chelsea's demand, but the French striker hopes to arrive in Italy soon after a recent phone conversation with Antonio Conte. Lyon and Napoli also tried to sign Giroud, but Inter are confident they can close the negotiation.
For the midfield, Inter are waiting for an answer from Christian Eriksen's agent after they submitted an offer on Friday. Should there be an opening, they would then insist with Tottenham to bring him to Serie A in January. On the Arturo Vidal front, with Valverde likely to be sacked, there is very little chance the Chilean midfielder will leave Barcelona.
