Inter are looking to bolster their squad during the January window to keep their scudetto dreams alive. The nerazzurri are looking to improve at multiple positions inter coming weeks
Defense
The priority is at the wing back position, but there aren't the financial conditions to sign Marcos Alonso or Emerson, in addition Chelsea do not want to sell them. Even Kurzawa's potential arrival is rather complicated which is why Darmian's candidacy is gaining traction.
Midfield
The nerazzurri are focused on reuniting Arturo Vidal with Antonio Conte, the Chilean international would like to be sold and the parties are at work to reach an agreement. Vidal's potential transfer to Inter could also create some good Will for some potential future negotiations in the summer, with Barcelona's interest in Lautaro Martinez being well known.
As has happened on previous occasions, Juventus are looking to insert themselves in the negotiation and have contacted Barcelona in the last hours to gauge the situation. Inter have stayed in contact with Chelsea for Giroud and with Napoli on a potential loan swap of Politano for Llorente.
