Inter still are working on Politano and have made progress to extend Vecino's contract. Regarding the Italian winger, Odgaard (born in 99' striker) could be part of the deal while contacts between both clubs have been more frequent the past few hours. Acquiring Politano wouldn't exclude other arrivals like Malcom or Suso and would be useful for Inter's list of players in Champions League. Odgaard could then be the key to convince Sassuolo to let Politano go, while Napoli still is interested in the player too.
In the meantime, the nerazzurri are making progress regarding Matias Vecino's contract extension. His agent Alessandro Lucci has told Sky Sport "Negotiations are really advanced, Inter will trust him. We haven't talked about anything else".
