After his Austria beat Latvia 6-0 in the Euro 2020 qualifiers, Valentino Lazaro spoke to 'LaOLA TV' about his new challenge with Inter in Serie A: "I can't wait to play my first minutes with Inter. I have followed Serie A for a while, seeing how big champions have arrived in Italy and the league is growing. The fans are crazy for football, it's incredible. Something I haven't seen before. I can't wait to experience a big game at the San Siro."
"Objectives? To win the league this season. People talk a lot about winning in two or three years, but the clear objective for us is to win the championship this year. The ambitions of the club are very elevated; and now with the changes of this summer, with a new coach, new players and a new philosophy, the objectives are even higher."
The right winger, born in 1996, is also optimistic when looking at the group in the Champions League: "In the coming years, the objective is to bring the Champions League back to Milan again. But I like to think even this year we can do something important. Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund aren't such bad opponents."
"The derby against Milan? It would be really special to play in that game, I hope to debut before and maybe play from the start entering those consecutive games."
