Today is expected to be the decisive day for the conclusion of the negotiation between Inter and the Suning group. As reported by Silvia Vallini of Sky Sport, the meetings in China are going well- Inter is represented by Michael Bolingbroke, Javier Zanetti (who received a warm welcome from the local fans at the airport), Giovanni Gardini and Michael Gandler who all arrived from Italy.
The summit is taking place at the Sofitel Zhongshan Golf Resort, the same hotel that will host tomorrow's conference. Inter's four representatives from Italy were joined by Robert Faulkner and Richard Lamb who had a lunch meeting with Ren Jun the President Management Commitee Suning Commerce Group and Yang Yang the Vice President of the Suning Investment group.
Erick Thohir arrived around 330pm local from Jakarta, he was part of the meeting this afternoon. There was a lot of mutual satisfaction on how the negotiation is going during the lunch and the afternoon meeting, there is a common vision for the future the basis of which will be the work that Thohir and Inter's current management group completed in the past few years- the goal is to build a competitive global company.
Today's intense day of negotiations is expected to conclude with a meeting at around 630pm at chairman Zhang Jindong's residence, Erick Thohir will be present while the other representatives were also invited. The negotiation between Inter and the Suning group is ongoing: today could be the decisive day for the transfer of the majority stake of the club to the Suning group.
