It could once again be Juve-Inter on the transfer window. The nerazzurri are making moves for Luiz Gustavo. The Wolfsburg midfielder whom Juve were thinking of as a Pogba replacement is once again on Inter's radar. Juventus (who have already spoken with the player's agent) wanted to close the deal on loan but Wolfsburg want to sell him outright. The nerazzurri have spoken to Wolfsburg across intermediaries and are ready to offer 18 million plus 2 bonus to bring the midfielder to Italy.
From the 29th of July the player has a German passport and therefore is now an EU citizen, the player has a release clause of 32 million. There is a possibility of signing him for a lower sum as long as he is bought outright. Inter followed him already in the previous transfer sessions and in the last few hours the club has convinced themselves that he is the right player to place in front of Mancini's defence.
