After arriving at Inter at the end of the January window, Christian Eriksen finds himself having to isolate during the COVID19 outbreak in Italy. The Danish midfielder discussed his experience during a recent interview with Sky Sport:"I have to excercise in the attic where there are about seventy meters from one extremity to the other. I haven't touched the ball in seven weeks, this is the longest break from football in my life, I miss it. One time I was even pulled over by the authorities and I had to show my documents and use my poor Italian. Training is hard and very different"
Eriksen was asked about his decision to join Inter:"It seemed like the right thing to do. There were many teams interested that wanted to get me and it's important to know a club wants you. I have better chances of winning here than at Spurs"
