From being a misterious object, on the verge of leaving the club in January, to leading Inter in conquering its 19th scudetto. First year and a half for Eriksen at Inter has been a roller-coaster, until the highest point reached in the past weekend with the victory of Scudetto, as he tells to La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Six months ago I was experiencing a specific situation, now we've won a trophy and I just can say I'm very happy to be at Inter. This scudetto is a good start point, we can continue and build a cycle".
A path of ups and downs and a difficult relationship, in the first months, with coach Antonio Conte: "At the beginning I didn't understand I had to follow constantly Conte's system, I was more used to my intuition, I was more free to take decisions based on what I saw. With the coach there's a general plan to follow, I had to learn everything and adapt to a different rythm, in January we talked, I started to play more and show I was able to deliver".
The Danish magician seems to be specific ideas also for his future: "Six months ago I could be considered out of the project, it's true, but now everything has changed. I'm happy to continue here and having a scudetto on the chest. Conte for us is really important, although his permanence doesn't depend on us: he'll decide with the club management".
