Frank De Boer managed to guide his Inter team to a win against Juventus at the San Siro. It was an effort that was led by team captain Mauro Icardi, tying the score moments after Juve led off the scoring, and featured another goal by Ivan Perisic to give Inter the 2-1 victory in the come-from-behind win. De Boer spoke to Sky Sport about it after the match: "We had a lot of talks with the players, we told each other that we would have to play together as a team the entire match. And it was because of that we won. They're all buying into our project and this was the perfect reward. It was beautiful to see the team giving its maximum, we can be better but we battled. The reaction? We spoke a lot during the week, talking about being at a goal disadvantage. In those situations against Chievo and Pescara we lost our heads. It's always nice to win, definitely so against the best team in Italy. But now our mind's on Empoli. If we stay concentrated we will be able to win many more matches. Perisic hadn't trained for there or for days, he wasn't at 100%. Eder was training better, with consistency, so I chose him. But I knew Perisic could come in and be the difference."
