Manager Antonio Conte discussed his upcoming opponent during the pre match press conference:”Saturday will be the game of our lives against Udinese. That is the way we have to approach these matches. We must maintain the enthusiasm we currently feel. But enthusiasm must be measured, we are creating something good and important”
Conte discussed the upcoming intense stretch in the schedule:”In these next 23 days we’ll see at what point everyone is. Everyone will play since we have seven matches in 23 days”
Conte gave an update on his strikers:”Sanchez is a good player, he proved it in the past. He won and played for important clubs. He has quality, speed, strength, resistance. We need to get him back on track after the two years at Manchester United. I want the Alexis I once knew. Lukaku entered Inter’s world in the best way possible. Great humility, he has important human and sporting qualities. My first thought with him isn’t goals but what he does for the good of the team, this is very important. Lautaro is a very modern footballer, he can play with Lukaku or be the main striker and play with someone else”.
