After two consecutive wins against Torino and Spal, Inter is now back to a difficult but possible race for the first league place: Juventus is six points ahead, with five matches left. The next one will see Inter facing Roma, at Stadio Olimpico, on Sunday at 21:45. Despite the post-lockdown initial difficults, now Roma has won the last three matches and Conte doesn't certainly want to underestimate the opponents: "Roma is well-equipped with a good team and a good manager", says the Nerazzurri coach on Inter social platforms. "Before they were playing with a 4-2-3-1, instead now they're using a 3-defense with two playmakers behind Dzeko. Veretout and Diawara are giving continuity, quantity and quality to the midfield. It will be a difficult match, just two days after the one against Spal. We will have one day less to recover, but we're enthusiastic, we are starting to see the results of the work we have been doing: the lads are starting to be appreciated" says Conte. "In the last period we have been a bit mistreated..."

A few comments about the injuries that the team is facing: "Sanchez has suffered a serious ankle injury that ruled out him for five months, but also in the midfield it has been a difficult season due to repeated injuries: from Sensi to Gagliardini and Barella, and then Vecino, who continues to suffer costantly this knee problem. But looking at the half full glass, those who have been playing have always given important answers: I'm thinking to Gagliardini, Brozovic, Borja Valero, and we're also integrating Eriksen. There are positives things", concludes the Inter coach.
