This will be a much different Juventus-Inter match for Antonio Conte, who will take on the team he once managed and captained tomorrow at San Siro.
The Inter manager spoke with the press before tomorrow's match.
"It will be a match between two teams that have the ambition to fight to win. I think that every game is important, the points available are always the same. It's inevitable that Juve represents a reference point because they really have dominated Italy over these years and when a team wants to understand what level they're at, Juve is the only reference point."
"We must have respect for the team that's won for 9 years and still wins. There hasn't been history in the past years, we crossed a bit last year, we hope to do the same thing because I remember past seasons with 20-25 points of distance from everyone else. It's not a good thing."
"I don't think that any Italian team can say they closed the gap. They've operated in an important manner in these years, at times getting a younger roster and at times signing more veteran players. This year, as well, they added players like Chiesa, Morata, Kulusevski and Morata to a team that's always won. There's been improvement in Italy, but the gap hasn't been reduced. But many teams like us are doing important things to get closer, which is unlike years past."
