Inter recorded a win, coming from behind against Hellas Verona days after a bitter defeat in the Champions League. Coach Antonio Conte was pleased with the result, and afterwards, spoke to Sky Sport about the evidence he feels shows his team is on the right track again: "It was a very complicated match. Verona is a difficult team to face. The match was an uphill battle from the start. It wasn't easy to come back. We were very strong, we had patience and demonstrated a great will to win. These players deserve praise, they're giving their all and are undergoing an important growth. This team also succeeds in taking positives out of being beat. We are on the right path.
Having 31 points after 12 matches is a very important result. I believe that things have gone better than we could have predicted. It's deserved by these lads. To reach the break in this form will give us a lot of enthusiasm and momentum. The reaction from today, the intensity with which we played was incredible. Against Dortmund it was a big dissapointment. We had the result within our hands, but unfortunately we couldn't secure it. It's part of our maturation process. I am convinced we can still get better. We are creating something wonerful and the reaction today was fantastic. Again we triumphed over adversity. Our goal is to continue in this fashion."
