Antonio Conte gave his thoughts after the match with Ludogorets ended 2-0 in favor of Inter. The nerazzurri received a goal from Christian Eriksen, and afterwards Conte discussed his midfielder's performance speaking to Sky Sport: "Eriksen must work, he can do more than what he did tonight. I am happy for him because the goal gives him faith, but he needs to find the rhythm and intensity again that he's had in years past. He's not yet at top fitness. We know we have an important player, so we will not be impatient with him." The coach touched on the club's situation within the competition: "Our path in the Europa League will allow us to rotate and play less used players. We want to go as far as we can using this plan. This competition can drain physical and mental energy, it's not possible to play Thusday and be on an even footing with the other teams on Sunday."
Conte also discussed his goalkeepers: "We are evaluating the situation with Handanovic day by day. We are confident in Padelli while we wait, he will take his place back when he's ready."
