With just a few hours remaining prior to their Serie A match against Sassuolo, Inter is losing an important piece from their roster. Marcelo Brozovic has tested positive again for the coronavirus and will not make the trip with his team to Reggio Emilia.
The Croatian midfielder tested negative just yesterday, after having to miss the last three matches. The club released the below statement:
"FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that the COVID-19 test that Marcelo Brozovic underwent yesterday came back ‘weak positive’ after the player had previously tested negative the day before. Brozovic will therefore be unavailable for today’s match against Sassuolo."
