After losing in the derby, Inter begins their Champions League journey against Borussia Moenchengladbach. Midfielder Nicolò Barella spoke on the upcoming match with Uefa.

"It represents the highest level in Europe, something you quickly learn about football at the beginning. There are no simple matches or assumed results. Especially at midfield there isn't time to think about what you must do, you must always be ready. Maybe it's easier in Serie A, every Champions League match is a final, in the sense that it's very difficult. In every match there's a different level of difficulty."

On comparisons to the team that won the treble in 2010: "That was a great team with many extraordinary players. Not that that's missing in this team, but we must show our strength on the pitch. They did that. We will always give our best, always trying to grow. The only regret is returning home without winning Europa League, but I hope that the moment arrives to lift a trophy sooner or later."
